Food

The food at the Mole and Chicken is produced from efficiently sourced & seasonal produce.
Chef & Proprietor Steve Bush has a professional background which has taken him on culinary journeys through Asia & Lebanon and so, although predominately British you will find influences from this part of the world on the menus here too.

Being on the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire border we are fortunate to have some fantastic produce on our doorstep, including Old Spot pigs which are born and reared in the village at Crendon Manor. Bucksum Salads in Shabbingdon provide us with some excellent seasonal fruit & vegetables all year round and we also find comfort in helping local producers by sourcing such things as award winning homemade preserves & granola for our breakfast table & Chilton cold pressed rapeseed oil for our salad dressings. These are also available to purchase in the restaurant.

Not all of our produce is locally sourced.
As we are not by the sea, we ensure our seafood is delivered to us fresh everyday courtesy of Kingfisher, based on the Devon coast in Brixham harbour.

In line with our fabulous A la Carte menu we have a two or three course set menu which changes daily and also a bar snack menu for a more informal experience. Whichever menu you dine from you can be sure that only the very best ingredients are used and the dishes are put together with passion in the hope that you have the very best dining experience possible.

Enjoy.
